Starting therapy with a Clinical Psychologist

I know that starting therapy can be daunting.

Great emphasis is placed on creating a genuine and supportive clinical relationship, creating the best foundations in which to make meaningful change.

I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental space in which we can work collaboratively to develop a compassionate understanding of what has led to the difficulties you are having.

This shared understanding allows us to create a personalised treatment plan, which aims to help you make changes in order to improve your wellbeing and achieve your goals.

In my current NHS role, I work as a Principal Clinical Psychologist, leading the psychology provision for the service in which I work.

  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC),
  • Practitioner Therapist member of the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT).
