Dr Estelle McDougall, has worked within various CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service NHS) settings since 2015.

In her sessions with you (and possibly others, if they are involved too), Dr Estelle McDougall wants to offer a safe space for all concerned, to then be able to explore what can be quite painful difficulties when you first tried to find a psychologist.

Dr Estelle McDougall work roles have included:

  • Working in maternal mental health working with birthing people and partners experiencing trauma, tokophobia and baby loss.
  • Providing psychological support for families, alongside West Mercia Police, who have experienced baby loss, where they are part of an ongoing investigation.
  • Clinically supervising other Psychology staff
  • Completing neurological assessments including assessments for: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC); Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and; Intellectual Disability.

  • University of Manchester Private IPT-A Assessor & Lecturer for children and young people (CYP)
  • Improving access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) course (conduct Lectures, Mark assignments)
  • University of Edinburgh Private IPT Supervisor (Supervision to clinicians in training,  marking portfolios and session recordings to assess trainee as pass/fail, to become  an accredited IPT practitioner
  • Anna Freud Centre IPT Supervisor
  • Private Supervisor (Provide case supervision)
