I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience specialising in neurodevelopment assessments, specifically:
I work with families, older adults, adults, young people and children.
I also offer therapy services and intervention for a range of mental health, and life challenges across the age range.
Life can be challenging and my main aim is to help empower and support you to lead the best life and be the best version of yourself.
My approach is to work collaboratively with you, in partnership, to complete assessment, psychological formulation, and intervention to increase the quality of life for you or your child and family.
I am experienced in delivering and adapting
When working with someone, I aim to help them understand how and why they have got to this point in their lives, and together develop strategies to improve emotional wellbeing and hope.
I have experience working systemically with the support systems that surround individuals to help ensure change is sustained.
I am a strong advocate for supporting people from all walks of life.
Life is hard and some challenges we face can leave us feeling alone, isolated, and struggling to cope.
Dr Katie Bigham is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP).
Dr Katie Bigham’s usual fee is £120 for individuals for an appointment, for Clinical Psychology / Psychological Therapy / Psychological Intervention (60 minutes). For longer assessment appointments or for families, please contact us for more information about the fees.
N.B. The fee may vary in relation to other services, e.g., specific assessments, report writing, working with schools, etc.

Director, Dr Jurai Darongkamas, C Psychol AFBPsS, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, worked for the NHS since 1986 and provides non-nhs work through this site alongside her independent associates. She is a registered Practitioner Psychologist (HCPC) and Psychologist specialising in Psychotherapy, Senior Practitioner status. She has been accredited by various professional bodies including: she is an accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) therapist, supervisor and trainer; BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). She has been accredited by the Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Association. The logos above demonstrate her membership of those organisations and that she has met their criteria to have been accredited by them. She was also a CQC Specialist Advisor from 2014/15 until Jan 2024.
